Car Explorer & Car Server

The Car Explorer architecture makes use of CAR files. Any CAR file has digest information about all cars for a particular Make released in a particular Year. The application communicates with Car Server about available CAR files.
The start view of Car Explorer enables you to seach for a car based on selection criteria. On the right there is an interface that provides quick help.
The start view control provides quick help and updates information.
The right pane shows car pictures and descriptions corresponding to the CAR file selected in the left pane. Notice that the right pane may show in the upper area either pictures or details. You can toggle the view with the toolbar button.
The list view in the right pane can be ordered in ascending or descending order with a click on any column. This is especially practical with the price column. This sample shows instant information on relative prices for all car released by Opel in the year 2012, and obtained with a single click.
One of the major benefits of the program is the opportunity to analyze car information in the main list view activated with a click on the "All" folder in the left tree view. The view shows details for all cars, you can quickly compare by ordering column in ascending or descending fashion.
To make quick comparison for the cars produced in any country, select the country and click related column in the list view to order the data. The Export to CSV option is accessible from the right-click menu in the list view.
Use drag-and-drop to memorize your picks under the Favorites folder. Alternatively, right-click any list view in the right pane and select "Add to Favorites...". Since v1.01 the program adds Export/Import options for favorites accessible from the right-click menu of the Favorites folder.
View and analyze your favorites instantly: select favorites and click a column in the list view to order data for comparison.
Double-click a car in the right pane to see its picture in the standard Windows' picture viewer. By the way, the picture viewer has an option to set the picture as Desktop Background, and send it to printer.
The dialog enables you to download CAR files for free from Car Server.
